More than Happy

"Happy New Year" doesn't get it for me.  I don't know your happy and you don't know mine.

I will say:  "Blessings of divine favor and in knowing who you are.  Peace in following God's will for your life. Enjoy your journey."  enough for now.

A Watchful Moment

Quite a while ago I was about to face what would be a major problem.  I didn't know then, but received an answer before I recognized the problem.  Holy Spirit whispered, "just walk away."  I was not sure what this applied to, but I soon found out.  And so I did.  The crazy cool part was how God so had my back.

So again. . . It's time . . . To walk away.  Don't you love it how God watches over us? It is a watchful moment.  enough for now.

Recognize and Celebrate

I had to rest from Christmas.  I watched too many Christmas movies which had nothing to do with Jesus. I found a show on Bible battles and found joy in that.  That's crazy.  I finally came to a new conclusion when I over heard a conversation on Christmas day.  It was in response to "how is your Christmas?"  The response, "oh we haven't opened gifts yet."

So how was my Christmas?  I was with family, though not all of my family.  Being with family is so important to me.  My 'family' celebration was Thanksgiving with my son, his family, and extended family.

Now, back to the issue.  The presents have overpowered the celebration of The Presence.  People are exhausted from finding just one more gift.  People are broke from spending too much money.  People are perturbed about not getting what they wanted. People are working so they can live and they don't have time to spend with family. People are CONFUSED.  I could go on, but you get the message.

The Presence- not presents.  Commercialism has done a job on all of us.  Please hear me.  I am not saying the giving is not necessary.  Since God gave His best to us, can't we give back to Him through
loving one another, caring for one another?  I'm sure you can find a way.  You have a year, start now.

(Oh crazy, even as I write the news is reporting that Hollywood is going to produce more biblical films. Yay! I think.)

I invite you to join me on a quest, a new leg of the journey, for what is important.  Family is so important, loving them through loving Jesus is so much better.  Loving and listening to Holy Spirit's guide is monumental!  No, don't make a resolution, just start.  Strengthen your life, your health, your walk.  Watch what God is doing in your life.  Blessings of recognizing and celebrating The Presence!
enough for now.

What is Real?

I have been rather perturbed at some of my students' lack of concern for their work. Then it dawned on me, that is how I feel, not how they feel.  If they have no problem doing c, d, f work, then I shall have no problem granting them their grade. That is very sad. After all, we should be the example to others of God's work in all that we do. Oh well, what is real? enough for now.

Oh Joy!

A moment of joy.  A client yesterday found the joy in waiting on God.  I call it 'the awakening'.  It is that moment where you know that you know that you know.  It is that place where you really can wait, you really do see, you are really clear.  And you no longer need to answer everything- you can listen clearer to Holy Spirit.  You know.  And the thing about it- things do not necessarily get easier, but you have peace.  Yes- there it is - that peace that passes all understanding.

I remember watching some of the older saints and they would have a smile like they 'knew' something that I didn't know.  When I would ask about it, I would hear, 'live a little longer', 'walk a little longer'.  And the thing about it is the 'longer' is a different place for each seeker.  Yeah, that's different.  You see, some people really want more of what God has, some are comfortable with hanging out in the realm.  But those who want more -the seekers- will receive more - just walking it out.

More is available to you.  Please don't miss it.  Watch what God is doing in your life. enough for now.
