Joy Received

Yes, Christmas has passed; but we are still in the season. The season of Joy recognized, of joy received. Why do we miss that? If we can hold on to the watching, the being- The watching more of what God has for us. The being more of who we really are. If we can - then we can receive more joy. Let this season be your springboard into your joy.

Be in the present moment with God. Don't jump ahead of what God is doing. That right there will bring joy. enough for now.

Joy Pouring

Blessings of joy and harmony with self and with others; as you celebrate the love of God that has been poured into you. Make this season a start of thanksgiving forever. Give thanks for all that God has done in your life. Lift your load by loving on one another as God loves on you. Merry Christmas to all! Happy birthday Jesus! enough for now.

Joy Blessings

Merry Christmas! Blessings of joy and release this season. Blessings as you walk in the peace this season affords. Yes, in spite of the hurrying about, in spite of the gift panic, in spite of your aloneness. You really can experience joy and peace. That is my gift for you- to experience the peace that God gives. Walk in it. enough for now.

Be Still

Just be. Just be still. Wow. I heard that all the time as I was growing up. I was into everything. Wanting to see, to know, and being still took too much time. Now I recognize the power in being still and hearing from God. And now I have no problem with doing just that. So, let's get still together- to hear what God is saying. Go ahead - try it. Be still- and know that he is God. enough for now.

Giving God Thanks

Give thanks.  I hear it so much here in Jamaica. "Giving God Thanks." And although they are sometimes worn down with the politics of the day, they still give God thanks. I am quite sure that is a key that too often we forget to use. Of course, we don't thank him for what he will do; but that he ahs already done so much- we owe that much to him.

Give thanks for your life, your day to day walk. Give thanks for what you have. Give thanks for what yo do not have, as some of what yo do not have could have messed you up. Walk in your blessing today just by giving thanks. enough for now.

A Plan

I gave this to my son and grandsons earlier. There is a plan. There is a plan for your life. God did not create you without his plan. Jeremiah says it best, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” There is a plan for you.  Let that permeate. enough for now.

Clean It Up

This is a great day! Jamaica rushes to clean up, paint up, repair in preparation for Christmas. I find it interesting in that at home in America we rush around buying and decorating. There is nothing wrong with that either. I love both sides, but wouldn't it be better to clean up, paint up, repair and then decorate?

This causes me to think about how we prepare self for the celebration of this season.  Do we just adorn ourselves in festive attire and do nothing about the changing of our attitude? Do we decorate the mask of our projected self instead of concern for our true self? I mean - wouldn't it be more important to clean up the dark places in our life? To rid ourselves of the things that cause us to suffer needlessly? Wouldn't it be better to smile and laugh from a real place instead of that front- the fake that you do?

Let's start in this season to clean up, fix up the dark in our lives. We start in is season (cause we have to start somewhere); but we continue beyond this season while walking more positively in our lives. Get started, clean it up. enough for now.

Your Hope

A season of hope. This is Advent. What are your hopes? What are your dreams? What are you doing as you hope, as you dream? enough for now.
