Walk in It

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors” (Luke 2:14 NRSV)

One verse. This is the angels’ proclamation to the shepherds and to us. We have peace because we have God’s favor. We walk in that peace. Nothing can disrupt our peace for long. And we have it because of the birth of Jesus! Celebrate in a new way! Celebrate with a new zeal! Merry Christmas to you all!

“For the kingdom of God depends not on talk but on power” (1 Cor. 4:20 NRSV)

I think we miss the awesomeness of this season, we get confused on what it all about. But the birth is so much more. The kingdom is so much more. My pastor said so long ago that, “We will be surprised with who we see in Heaven.” So many people are playing a game. And the reality is to stop playing is so much better.  Our words will tell on us.  Just let this sit with you. enough for now.
