Yes, You Can

Hurdles are meant to jump over, go around, and yes they are doable. Sometimes we get caught up worried about how to overcome the obstacle- whether we go around, go over, go through, or even go another way. You see- there is always another way. It's the way you could not think of- that's why we need Holy Spirit's guidance to direct us.

Yes you can, yes you will. You are more than a conqueror through him who strengthens you. Hold on to that and face each obstacle with a new resolve. Watch what God is doing in your life. enough for now.

Toward Beauty

It is sad that you have people with ugly ways everywhere- especially in the church. But you see, the church is where they should be- to receive healing. So don't look at them strange- but pray for them. The funny part is- they may be praying for you and your ugly ways.

Which ugly way did Holy Spirit reveal to you? Now that you are aware of it don't try to get away from it but walk with Holy Spirit toward the beauty. You see, we spend too much time and energy trying to get away from something instead of walking toward the good-the peaceful-the positive. Can you see it?

Get focused and keep moving toward beauty. Watch what God is doing in your life. enough for now.

Keep on Walking

Walking out of ugly. Sounds good, doesn't it? Keep on walking, and watching what God is doing in your life. enough for now.

No More Ugly

Why is it so hard to look at our own faults? It must be hard because we are too quick to recognize the faults of others. Why is that? Haven't you noticed?  "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother/sister's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" (Luke 6:41 NIV)

Ok, that is our next move. The next time you roll your eyes, or put down another, or not speak when you enter a room, ask yourself why? What is the trigger that affects your own wounding? Many times -it is a worth wound. Your self worth may have suffered and it can manifest in so many ways.

I just remembered something. When I was young I said someone was ugly. My parents said never to use that term. They said "no one is ugly, but they may have ugly ways." I've come to understand that so much better. The sad part is ugly ways will only hurt you. Others can appreciate your beauty, learn to appreciate the beauty that God has made in you.

Allow yourself a season of healing from your ugly, and then you will not only appreciate self but you can love others more. enough for now.

The New You.

How are you doing? What have you recognized about you? What are you going to do? You have done the hardest part- to recognize. Now let's get started. How? Again by listening. And by watching. Listen for guidance from Holy Spirit. And watch what God is doing in your life. This is the start for the new you. It takes small steps, but they will accomplish much. enough for now.

It is You

Have you wondered why you find yourself in the same situations, meeting the same people and having the same issues? And you are upset and mad at everybody about the same thing? Do you hear it? It is not them, the people, places, or things- it is you.

So what do you do with that? Hmm. Let's look at that wounding. You know the core wound from a core need you are missing. That is a good place to start. Get still and ask Holy Spirit to show you your core wound. You may have a few. If you are ready, let's get started.
I bless you with hearing clearly from Holy Spirit.
I silence the voice of the enemy.
I silence your voice.
Now get still and look at you. enough for now.

Fill Me Up

"Fill me up Lord." How often do we hear that? How often have you prayed that? The crazy thing is -to be able to be filled- we must empty ourselves. Hmm. What can be emptied?  Anything that hinders. Do you need peace, then empty strife. Do you need rest, then empty busyness. You must be willing to let go in order to receive. Let go, then fill me up Lord. enough for now.

Your Will

We must be mindful of who we are, otherwise others will dictate whom we shall be. That is a part of giving control to God. When we think we are in control, too often it can be wrestled away from us by others and we find ourselves lost and confused. No one can wrestle control from God. No one can serve two masters. Today, not my will, but yours God. enough for now.

Learning,relearning

Learning a new way, relearning self. Hmm. Recognizing that not everyone has the same value system, and learning to work with that. I think that is enough for today. What are you learning? enough for now.

No Routine

Routines may be comfortable, but there are times that what we regard as routine must not be handled with a routine heart. Anything can become routine and so regarded as "it is what is is." But it is never just what it is. So approach your day differently today- whatever the task search for what is being presented to you. Watch what God is doing in your life. enough for now.

Your Specialness

I think if people recognized how special they are, they would not have to make themselves feel special, or important, or bigger than anyone. So many have been wounded through their worth and do not realize that they are only fighting self. It has damaged many relationships, and sometimes even positions at work.

Just let it sink in that you are indeed precious-special-the beloved of God. enough for now.

Waiting

Taking time to access, to contemplate, to hear from God. Yes, we really should do that daily. We have so many good ideas that appear to work, but maybe now is not the time for them to be implemented. How about you?

I have found that although God gave them to me, they are for a certain place and time. And God will direct that implementation if I wait. Now since Holy Spirit, as our paraclete, walks alongside, guiding and teaching, just maybe we should wait on the teacher. enough for now
