Get Quiet

Today I marveled at the quiet. I listen to the birds - but I heard the quiet. I heard the cars- yet I heard the quiet. And in the quiet I found my peace.

Where can you find your peace? You can't make it. You can't make it happen. I do suggest that you first get quiet and wait. Get quiet and watch what God is doing. enough for now.

Change Your Way

Each day presents its own set of challenges. Yet, each day present its own set of possibilities.How do you view the day? Do you arise counting the things you must face or do? Or do you arise watching the glory- the beauty of the day?  Are you giving thanks for the new day? It's all how you arise. Change your way of getting up in the morning and watch what God is doing.  enough for now.

Waiting

Waiting . . . waiting on . . . waiting  for . . . waiting. We spend so much time waiting for someone, waiting on something. We spend so much precious time waiting for the wrong things. Many times what we are waiting on- disappoints.

Too often we find ourselves in so much turmoil trying to play catch up from lost 'waiting' time.
I have recognized to shift my priorities from all of that to waiting on God. Waiting on - in serving. Waiting for Holy Spirit's instructions. And I have found that the peace from waiting on God - wow, you can't beat it.

It's that statement that we hear so much - "What God has for you is for you." It is, and you can't bring it to you, neither can another. I encourage you to watch what God id doing in your life, and wait on God. enough for now.

Traveling

There is safety when traveling in numbers. There is peace when traveling with Holy Spirit. Now we know as our paraclete Holy Spirit guides us. The peace comes with listening and resting on the journey. Listen today. Watch what God is doing in your life. enough for now.

Count the Times

How many times do we keep asking the same thing and hoping that the answer will change? We used to do that when we were little. We kept asking until out teacher gave in. I say teacher because my parents weren't having it. No meant no. What about doing the same thing the same way- and expecting a different outcome?

Oh count the times. Yes we have been there, but there is hope from that rut, that pattern that we have gotten stuck in. It's called listening - listening to guidance- and the trusting that God's answer is the best for your life. Go ahead. This time trust and watch and wait. enough for now.

You will

Keep walking. Keep going. Don't worry about set backs or failures. You see, the race is not given to the swift but to the one that endures to the end. Keep going. Things will indeed change. You will walk out of your place of pain, you will not walk alone because Holy Spirit is walking with you. You will survive. You will make it. You will. enough for now.

So Much More

I am celebrating independence in a foreign land. Foreign only because there is so much still to learn. Celebrating because my independence did not come as celebrated on the fourth of July, but because it came through the shed blood of Jesus. And that right there gives me reason to want to walk more in that independence means - celebrating my full dependence on Jesus. Kinds cool isn't it?

Celebrate your life. Celebrate the love that God has for you. Live today loving your life. There is so much more. You must be willing to receive. There is so much more. So much more. enough for now.

Sometimes it takes a Shifting

Sometimes it takes a new way of looking at an old situation. You know, that is how you handled it the past. But the past is the past and actually should be a part of how you build. You may need a new perspective, even a shifting of priorities. Whoooo. Scary isn't t? It is scarier when you think you have all the answers.

Sometimes you need to hear a different view, even when you think you are correct. You don't know everything and you can't be everything to everyone. It takes a shifting. Begin shifting from what you know, and watch what God is showing that you don't know. Sometimes it takes a shifting. Are you ready? enough for now.
