Getting Ready

I am amazed at the press for Hurricane Irene.  One news reporter stated that she could not imagine anyone on the street, then she paused, except the homeless.  Hello.... the homeless. No one appears to be concerned about the everyday life of the homeless.  We get excited only on special occasions - you know at Thanksgiving - when we feed them, at Christmas when they may get a blanket. I guess what I am saying is  that we have so many of our priorities socially backwards.

Think about it.  I am going to prepare for Irene.  Pray and then wait.  type to you later
