"Lord, help me to hold out until my change comes." The sentiment of that song. Wow. How many times have you cried out? Then what? Did you cry out and proceeded to do what you thought? Did you cry out and then waited? We have been so programmed "to do" instead of "to be". It is hard for us "to be". Our first charge is to "Be still and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10a).
In the being still, we can get clear directions. We wait through our being still. Where are you anxiously fretting, or running around and getting nothing done? Write it down, allow God to handle it and leave it alone. Try it. enough for now.
