Exodus 35:5
“Take from among you an offering to the Lord; let whoever is of a generous heart bring the Lord’s offering . . .”
Go back and read this whole passage. It is about the building of the Tabernacle. Many interesting items were needed, but the people had them. God only wanted those who had a willing heart to contribute.
God has use for our gifts, what he gave us. However, our hearts must be right. When we give from our heart, there will always be more than enough. But it starts with a willing heart and it goes from there. It doesn’t matter what the gift, God will use it, but we must be willing. Be ready, be willing. enough for now.
