Hosanna

“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out” (Luke19:40 NIV)

This was Jesus’ triumph entry into the city. Only he knew what was going to happen. The Pharisees tried to quiet the disciples. The disciples and the crowd were praising what they had already witnessed. But the Pharisees weren’t having it. Could it be because they could not see? They were indeed haters.

We know what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives. That’s reason to praise him. We can’t let anyone stop our praise. They don’t know what we know. They can’t see what we see. 

Jesus will always have a witness. If we keep quiet the stones will cry out. Hallelujah! Blessing of joy, praise, and contemplation as we move through this week of reflection- Passion Week. enough for now.
