You have to Know

“So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty” (Zec. 4:6 NIV).

That’s it right there. This is a passage that I have stood on for so long. It keeps me grounded.
Sometimes we may forget how we got here- but we must not forget that it was indeed God and his favor. Yes, many times you may feel that you are not where we want to be, but look at where you are.  And there is more to come- but we keep in mind that is not by our might nor by our power, but by the  Spirit of God. God did it, God is doing it, God will do it- when you let him. Go ahead, thank him for all he has done, for what he is doing, and for what is in store. enough for now.

Which are You?

“When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted” (Matt. 28:17 NIV).

This one verse says it all. This was after Jesus’ resurrection and the disciples were to meet Jesus in Galilee. It says it all. To the eleven disciples, who were to receive the great commission- some worshipped when they saw Jesus, but some doubted.

When our hearts can worship him, doubt can’t hinder us.  When we entertain doubt, we can’t worship.

We must ask ourselves where we are. Can we worship him? Or do we doubt?

There is still hope for doubters. Although some doubted-  Jesus commissioned all to go. He commissions us to go, in spite of where we are. enough for now.

The Road

“They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?””

This is the on Emmaus Road after the resurrection. Go back and read 13-32. It is amazing that the disciples didn’t know who Jesus was. This passage shows us they had a clue, but they didn’t know while he walked and talked with them. They didn’t know until after they invited him in and when they saw him break bread and blessed it.

How could they not have known who Jesus was? But they had a clue. We have to open our eyes to the moment and we must invite him in. Not just one time but every time. The more we invite him in, the more we see, the more we know. We have a clue, but we need more.

Yesterday we went to an Escape room. Wow! It was difficult and we needed help with the clues. Life is difficult, and we need help with the clues. enough for now.

He Lives!

He lives, we can live. We can love. We can be rid of any and all negativity. That’s enough right there. To be rid of negativity- that is indeed life! Let that stay with you. Learn how to release the negative ideas that have bound you. Blessings of newness on this Resurrection day! enough for now.
