Each New Day

Each new day we can learn something else. Each new day we can see anew. We can recognize the awesomeness of what God is doing in our life. Too often we forget that each new day is a present to be unwrapped in joy. It is not promised. Let that sink in.

Accept this day as special for you. Open your eyes and see. Open your heart and feel. enough for now.

Celebrate

Celebrate something larger than a new year. Celebrate that because of God’s great love for us his compassions are new every morning!  Celebrate daily that right there. That celebration will remove negativity. That right there. enough for now.

How Soon We Forget

How soon we forget, how soon we let go. Christmas is in the rear view mirror. It’s over. Shouldn’t the same joy permeate our hearts after the Christmas event? It’s not over it’s only starting. But isn’t that how we do? Isn’t that how we pray? When it’s over it’s done. There should be more of a lingering, to bask in the moment. We bask in the wrong moments. We bask in foolishness to often. We bask in jealousy and envy too often. We bask in gossip too often. We bask in unforgiveness way too long. And it’s all because don’t bask longer in communion with God. We don’t pause longer in his presence in prayer.

Don’t forget - don’t let go. enough for now.

Nothing is Impossible

This season reminds us that with God nothing is impossible! Stay right there. Walk in favor. Watch what God is doing. Merry Christmas! Enough for now.

Walk in Your Blessing

There is a way you walk when you know whose you are. It’s a little strut that says you know you have walked up out of something, you know you are victorious. Walk in your blessing.
     “Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children
will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.
May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. May you
live to see your children’s children— peace be on Israel” (Psalm 128 NIV).
Daughter, son, walk in your blessing. enough for now.

That’s How

Do you ever wonder how you make it from day to day? I mean in spite of your own craziness? Even when you don’t pray as you should? Somebody prayed for you. Somebody said your name. Somebody blessed your life. Even if it was the benediction at church. The blessing flows.

Bless back. Bless God back. You can through prayer and communion with God. You can through loving one another, loving self. Through thinking positively  and removing all negativity. Watch what happens. Your day to day becomes so much more. Watch what God is doing. That’s how you do it. enough for now.

Who are You Trusting?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight” (Prov. 3:5,6 NIV). KJV says he will direct your path. Directing your path does make it straight for you. It untangles some things. It rearranges some things.

Who do you trust? Anything other than God will take you on a tangled journey. It’s not your. It’s not what he had for you. Take time with this. Why do you continue down the same path with the same outcome that does you no good? Shift where you place your trust. Watch what God does.  A simple message with so much power. Let that permeate your spirit today. enough for now.
